이카루스에 대한 탄식 또는 이카루스에 대한 애도(The Lament for Icarus)라는 제목의 이 작품은 하버트 제임스 드레이퍼의 대표작이자 이카루크의 죽음을 잘 표현한 작품 중 하나로 꼽히는 작품입니다.

땅에 추락하여 이미 죽음을 맞이한 이카루스와 주위를 에워싼 님프들이 애도하는 모습을 담고 있습니다.
