달맞기 꽃과 달리 원예종 중 낮에 꽃이 피는 품종은 낮달맞이꽃이라고 불립니다. 분홍낮달맞이꽃(Oenothera speciosa)과 황금낮달맞이꽃(Oenothera fruticosa) 등이 있습니다.
