줄여서 더 게티(the Getty)라고도 부르는 폴 게티 미술관(J. Paul Getty Museum)은 1954년 개관한 게티 빌라(Getty Villa)와 1997년 개관한 게티 센터(Getty Center), 두 곳의 미술관으로 구성되어 있습니다.

이 중 게티 센터는 20세기 이전 유럽의 회화, 조각 등을 위주로 전시하고 있습니다.

입장료가 무료이면서도 소장품들의 수준이 높다고 합니다. 또한, 전시하고 있는 작품 뿐만 아니라 정원이나 내려다 보는 로스앤젤레스 모습도 멋이 있습니다.

전시된 작품 중에는 고흐의 1889년 작인 아이리스가 유명하며, 이 외에도 루벤스(Peter Paul Rubens), 렘브란트(Rembrandt), 터너(J.M.W. Turner), 마네(Édouard Manet), 르누아르(Pierre-Auguste Renoir), 모네(Claude Monet) 등 유명 작가들의 작품들이 있습니다.
