Pune, located in Maharashtra state, is often called the “Silicon Valley of Western India.” It has become a powerhouse in automobiles, IT services, pharmaceuticals, and education. Major Indian companies like Tata Motors operate here, and many global players have established manufacturing and R&D centers.
