The core characteristic of Hazira Port is its deep draft and state-of-the-art multi-commodity handling capabilities. Unlike older, congested state-run ports, Hazira offers a congestion-free environment designed to handle massive vessels, including Panamax, Suezmax, and Large LNG carriers. The port features highly specialized berths for container traffic, dry bulk, liquid chemicals, petroleum products, and edible oils, alongside a world-class LNG import terminal that acts as a vital energy gateway for Northern and Western India.
