올브라이트녹스미술관

미국 뉴욕 주 버펄로 시에 위치한 미술관입니다. 

모 조직은 1862년에 설립된 버펄로 순수미술 아카데미(Buffalo Fine Arts Academy)로 미국에서 가장 오래된 공립미술기관 중 하나입니다.

1905년 올브라이트미술관(Albright Art Gallery)으로 개관하였습니다.

1939년 시모어 호래스 녹스 2세(Seymour Horace Knox II, 1989-1990)와 그의 가족들의 기증및 다른 기부자들의 기증으로 새로운 전시관이 만들어집니다. 이때 미술관 이름이 올브라이트녹스미술관(Albright-Knox Art Gallery)으로 변경되었습니다.

2016년 6월 미술관 캠퍼스 전체를 리모델링하고 새 전시관인 건설 계획을 발표합니다. 새로운 Buffalo Albright Knox Gundlach Art Museum(AKG)는 2023년 상반기 개관 예정이라고 합니다.

현재는 별관인 올브라이트-녹스 노스랜드(Albright-Knox Northland)에서 전시와 행사를 개최하고 있습니다. 

올브라이트녹스미술관은 근대미술(modern art)과 현대미술(contemporary art) 위주로 6,740여 점을 소장하고 있는데, 노스랜드에서만 전시하다 보니 현재 전시하고 있는 작품은 200여 점에 불과합니다.
